What’s on in London this weekend

Springing straight from the Coronation Hotel in Paddington this weekend?  Here is our selection of the best ways to spend the next few days in the city

A number of festivals hit London this weekend, including the Imagine Children’s Festival on Southbank, and the cultural cabaret of the  Vault festival in the Old Vic Tunnels, plus weekend Late parties (tickets from £5).  Free film screenings are available at the Festival of the Moving Image throughout the UCL Campus on Saturday and Sunday (free).  Elsewhere, the Kinetica Art Fair explores robotic art at Ambika P3 and Camden’s Significant Other festival explores love through seven minute plays on Saturday and Sunday at 3pm and 7.30pm (tickets £7).  If dancing is your thing, the Flamenco Festival is at Sadler’s Wells until 19/2 (tickets from £12).

In addition, the British museum is open until 8.30pm tonight, and will host a screening of Malcolm X for a mere £3.

Fancy a bit of urban nature?  Lee Valley Farms in East London have an open day on Saturday.  Visit horses and more for £6.50.

Coffee fans can take a caffeinated walking tour of London, including some shots of Turkish coffee to keep you going from 2.30pm (£8).
